Robert Pobitschka, President of UNESCO Club Vienna was invited to deliver the paper „Music as a Promoter of Human Values‟.
Extract: In music, sounds generally do not appear as noise but as tones with a certain frequency and length. They show up in „time patterns‟ called rhythm. This increases their power immensely. Thus improved and sharpened, sounds become an effective tool. In fact, since ancient times music has become a messenger not only of personal expression, but as a mediator of our cultural and religious structures.
